Special Conditions

There are some special conditions in order to receive extraordinary graces associated with the Divine Mercy Sunday.

I desire that the Feast of Mercy be a refuge and shelter for all souls, and especially for poor sinners.

On that day the very depths of My tender mercy are open.

I pour out a whole ocean of graces upon those souls who approach the fount of My Mercy.

The soul that will go to confession and receive Holy Communion shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment.
--- St. Faustina Diary, 699

Hence, to receive the graces as promised by Jesus for those who want to obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment on a Divine Mercy Sunday, they have to:

make a Confession

and

receive Holy Communion.

By these conditions, Jesus emphasizes the value of CONFESSION and HOLY COMMUNION as miracles of mercy.

Let us all bear in mind that the Eucharist is Jesus, Himself, the Living God.

So let us all regularly receive Him by regularly attending Sunday masses, making confession and receiving holy communion as often as possible.

In addition, our Lord says through St. Faustina that we are to perform ACTS OF MERCY and TRUST in His Mercy;

Yes, the first Sunday after Easter is the Feast of Mercy, but there must also be acts of mercy.
--- St. Faustina Diary, 742

The graces of My mercy are drawn by means of one vessel only, and that is trust. The more a soul trusts, the more it will receive.
--- St. Faustina Diary, 1578

In summary, the special conditions are:
  1. Go to confession;
  2. Receive Holy Communion;
  3. Perform Acts of Mercy, and
  4. Trust in His Mercy.

Know when is the 2020 Divine Mercy Sunday here!
